Pesto Recipe

For a quick dinner treat make a paste of the following and serve over pasta.


  • 2 cups fresh basil leaves, packed (remove leaves from the stems)
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons pine nuts or walnuts
  • 3 garlic cloves, peeled and finely minced

Blend together just before serving and add cooked pasta for a refreshing summer meal.
