Garden America was thrilled to welcome back one of its favorite guests, Ed Laivo. With more than thirty-five years of hands-on horticultural expertise, Ed has built a remarkable career in the industry, holding key leadership roles at Dave Wilson Nursery, Four Winds Growers, and Burchell Nursery. His extensive knowledge spans general ornamentals, perennials, and one of today’s most popular trends: edible landscaping.

During the show, Ed shared some of his latest insights into America’s growing fascination with cultivating fruits and vegetables at home. He also explored one of the season’s most talked about topics, low chill cherry trees, which are perfect for gardeners in warmer climates who have long dreamed of homegrown cherries.

Listeners had the chance to learn from one of the industry’s top experts. The show was broadcast live on Facebook, giving viewers across the country an opportunity to ask Ed their questions about fruit tree growing and get personalized advice.
