Ed Laivo is the sales and marketing manager for Burchell Nursery. The nursery has the only globally recognized nut breeding program and has recently released ‘Shasta’, a self-fertile almond tree.
He has over thirty years of horticultural experience including general ornamentals, perennials and edible landscaping with particular emphasis on fruit trees. His technique known as “Backyard Orchard Culture” has been adapted throughout the United States.
